Royston Turquoise Sterling Silver Navajo Pearls Necklace
This stunning necklace has been created with Royston Turquoise, Navajo Pearls, and sterling silver. One of my turquoise suppliers specializes in cabochons from the estates of silver artists and miners…many of these cabochons are super rare as they come from mines that closed decades ago. The two used here are beautiful Royston turquoise…one of the most sought after by collectors. They are bezel set in sterling, and framed with granulation. They have closed backs which helps protect the beautiful cabochons and adds substantial silver weight to the piece. The chain is a combination of my hand forged paperclip links, and Navajo Pearls. I purchase genuine Navajo Pearls directly from the Native Americans that create them because they're so beautiful but extremely time consuming to make. The silver has been finished with an antique style patina to match the Navajo Pearls. The chain measures approximately 20” and has a 2” extension. The two stones give a further 3 ¼” drop.
