Labradorite Sterling Silver 925 Pendant

This sterling silver pendant features a large labradorite cabochon that is bezel set and framed with hand-forged rope.  After examining this particular cabochon, I found that it shows off its beautiful colors best with the point at the base. It has a closed back which helps protect the beautiful cabochon and also adds substantial silver weight to the piece, and I finished it with an antique style patina. It measures approximately 1 3/4” not including the bail. This pendant comes with a 16” sterling silver chain, however the bail is large enough to accommodate thicker chains if you want to swap this one out. My stamp on the back is reversed because I forgot which way the stone looked best when making the bezel…Ooopsl!!

Labradorite has an iridescence in blues, greens and golds that constantly change depending on the angle of light....they are always more stunning in person.
